We are glad to inform you that UNIOTECH Ltd. has won the tender entitled ‘MVM Partner – for the energy-intelligence of undertakings’ in SME category among the participants.

This award is the result of the construction of our above-mentioned energy-conscious, low energy consuming building. The success in keywords:

• placement of illuminating windows around the warehouse which makes the use of electricity in the hall almost unnecessary.
• placement of twice larger windows than the traditional in the offices to enable natural light penetration
• use of automatic blends on windows to prevent summer heat getting in, the operation of blinds is light and wind velocity sensible.
• possible need for air conditioning is satisfied by inverter heating/cooling air-conditioners
• extra thick, 10 cm insulation on office building walls
• warehouse heating by heat exchanger/heat pump integrated system
• the heating system is supported by a multi-firing boiler, where waste pallets and other wooden packaging materials are incinerated
• we increase the number of our environmentally-friendly packaging materials, inspiring our customers to choose the environment-conscious way of life (degradable space-filling material, corrugated-board choppers to produce space-fillers, paper bobbin take-back etc.)
• inverter integrated manufacturing machines (foil rewinders)
• placement of 40 square meters of network-recharging solar captors on the roof with a nominal capacity of 8kW which is outperformed many times
• irrigation of the park and flushing of toilets is solved by using the collected rainwater and water from a well

Winning this award is an honour for us and we ensure our customers that we are not going to stop! As part of our future plans, we would like to change our vehicle fleet to hybrid vehicles, but it is already a long-term goal.
